Your first stop is the historic Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery, a 12th-century sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary, renowned for its intricate frescoes and peaceful setting overlooking the valley.

Continue your journey to the island’s most revered spiritual site, Kykkos Monastery. Known for its lavish mosaics, golden icons, and rich history, Kykkos is home to a sacred icon said to have been painted by the Apostle Luke. Explore its ornate interiors and the on-site museum, where religious artifacts and manuscripts reveal the depth of Cyprus’ Orthodox heritage.

Village Charm & Wine Country

After your monastery visits, travel to the traditional mountain village of Pedoulas for an optional buffet-style Cypriot lunch featuring authentic local dishes and wines. Then, make your way to Omodos, a beautiful village famed for its wine-making tradition and the Timios Stavros Monastery. Stroll through narrow cobblestone alleys, visit small craft shops, and sample local sweets before beginning your scenic return to Paphos.

Please wear modest clothing suitable for monastery visits (shoulders and knees covered). Comfortable walking shoes are recommended due to cobbled village paths. Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen for sunny days. This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with mobility difficulties.
