Explore Santorini’s Volcanic Wonders by Boat

Set sail from Athinios Port aboard a traditional wooden vessel and journey through the heart of Santorini’s iconic caldera. Enjoy live commentary as you learn about the island’s volcanic history and unique geological formations.

Your first stop is Nea Kameni, home to Santorini’s active volcano. Here, you can take an unguided hike to the crater, walking across dramatic lava fields while enjoying spectacular caldera views. Please note that the hike involves uneven terrain, so proper footwear is recommended.

Next, continue to Palea Kameni for a refreshing swim in the natural hot springs, famous for their warm waters and high sulfur content. The minerals may stain light-colored swimsuits, so darker swimwear is advised.

The cruise then heads to Thirassia Island, where you’ll enjoy a second swimming stop in a tranquil bay. Relax in the clear waters and take in the peaceful atmosphere of this traditional island.

As you sail back through the caldera, admire the dramatic volcanic cliffs and the picturesque whitewashed villages perched on the edge of the island. The cruise concludes at Athinios Port around 15:45.

Optional Oia Sunset Extension

Choose the extended option to visit Oia after the cruise. A comfortable bus will take you directly to the village, where you’ll enjoy 2–3 hours of free time to explore, shop, dine, and experience the world-famous Oia sunset. After sunset, board the bus back to your original drop-off point.
