Big Bang Gran Canaria - A festival from another planet

The 6th, 7th and 8th October promises to be a festival from another planet as the Parque de San Telmo is transformed to promote women in culture and to fight against discrimination.

The programme of events has been carefully curated to feature a balance of male and female artists promoting new values of the current cultural scene from the Canary Islands.

The event starts at the Island Library of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria with the Rock & Ellas Exhibition by Tenerife photographer Javi Felipe where he demonstrates his vision of Canarian women in rock. The inauguration will be on Thursday, October 5 at 8:30 p.m. and will be open until the middle of the month.

Friday the 6th sees the festival occupy the emblematic San Telmo Park in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria until Sunday, October 8.

Expect to see some of the very best Concerts, DJ sessions, burlesque shows, dance workshops, food trucks, flea market, hair salon, Canarian design, barber shop, motorcycles, comics, tattoo, antiques, vinyl records, children's activities and much more...
