Easyjet will be opening a new base in Birmingham in early 2024, with three aircraft covering 16 destinations from March 18th 2024.
The airline will open its first new base in over a decade expanding its network with 16 new routes including Tenerife and Fuerteventura in The Canary Islands.
Other international destinations will include Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Berlin, Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey, Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu and Kos, Jersey, Larnaca, Enfida and Sharm el Sheikh.
Flights to Tenerife will start on March 19th and operate twice a week. The new service to Fuerteventura will operate once a week and start on April 4th.
Seats, and package holidays, for the new flight schedule can be booked as of the 30th November 2023.
This is the ninth base that Easyjet will have in the UK not only creating jobs, but strengthening its position in the UK market as both an airline and holiday operator.
