The department of Tourism Promotion in Lanzarote has sealed a deal with Ryanair to launch a €275,000 advertising campaign with the aim to attract more visitors from the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Europes largest low-cost airline will start the campaign in December 2023, via their social media, website and other promotional channels with a view to attract more visitors to the island.
The advertising is primarily targeted at the British and Irish markets, but also includes travellers from other European countries including France, Poland, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia.
If the advertising proves to be a success, Ryanair have the option to renew the contract for 2024.
