Playa Blanca ´Spoon in Concrete' Removed

The 'famous' Spoon in Playa Blanca appears to have been dug out of the concrete and removed.

It's true. The popular attraction known as the 'Spoon in Concrete' has been removed from the Playa Blanca promenade. The spoon was a favourite with holiday-makers to the resort who enjoyed spending their time locating and photographing the item of cutlery next to their toes, and posting them to Playa Blanca groups on social media. It was that famous it even had it's own location marker on Google Maps

However, not everyone will be sad to see the spoon go, as such posts became tiresome to many and is possibly the reason someone has removed it.
