The average daily spend by holidaymakers coming to the Canary Islands in the second quarter of 2023 is down from January to March.
Visitors to the Canary Islands as a whole spent a daily average of €155.40 when visiting the islands in the second quarter of 2023, down from €168.50 per day in quarter 1.
The daily average spend takes into consideration the cost of accommodation, flights, eating out , leisure activities and excursions and local transport such as busses and taxis.

Although a drop from Q1 to Q2 is not normally the trend businesses on the islands will be hopeful that the pattern of a strong Q3 remains the same for 2023.
