Lanzarote expects slightly higher temperatures than normal this weekend with the mercury forecasted to hit 34 degrees during midday periods.
Starting Friday Afternoon (9th August) temperatures are to rise in Lanzarote, with averages set for 30 degrees and hitting a forecasted maximum of 34. There will be a mixture of clouds and clear skies and on Saturday gusts of wind are expected up to 50kmph.
Temperatures are to continue through Sunday before dropping on Monday. Next week is expected to see temperatures averaging around 26 degrees.
The UV Index remains high at 11.
As always, we recommend seeking shelter were possible to avoid the high temperatures. With the UV Index being high apply and wear sensible sun protection and keep hydrated drinking plenty of water during the day.
